Exterior 450 Clear - Tintable Protective Waterbourne Coating
Designed for exterior wood applications, EXTERIOR 450 varnish provides your wood with a tough, protective outdoor water-base wood finish that will withstand the rigors of the sun, rain, and wind. Can be used as a tint base to create custom colors. Ideal exterior furniture finish, exterior door finish or deck finish, and is fortified with UV absorbers to help minimize fading and maximize performance. Its built-in mildewcide retards mold and mildew growth. Tough and flexible, it will resist the expansion and contraction of the wood through hot summers and cold winters

Exterior 450 Stain & Top Coat Showcase
We used General Finishes Exterior Products to refurbish the horse stalls in our barn - they had been empty and untreated for almost 10 years, and the results were fabulous. See before and after pictures below. After power power-washing and sanding down the previous oil base finish, we sprayed a 50/50 mixture of Olde Cherry Exterior 450 Stain and Coffee Bean Exterior 450 Stain mixed with an equal quantify of Exterior 450 Clear top coat. Next time we might add a little dye stain.
