B2B Sales Position for Wood Finishes

 General Finishes is seeking a skilled B2B salesperson to manage sales in a U.S. MULTI-STATE territory. Must be comfortable with 90+ days travel within your assigned territory. Compensation:

  • 70-80K+ starting salary depending on experience level with $125,000 earning potential within 4 years.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with wood coatings is beneficial, but not required.
  • A bachelor's degree in a business or chemistry-related field is preferred but not required.
  • A high level of drive and self-motivation is absolutely necessary
  • Must be very personable and comfortable with the sales process, including making in-person cold calls.
  • Must be comfortable with regular expense-paid overnight travel, 90 days+.
  • Ability to learn and retain in-depth technical product knowledge.
  • Must be organized and professional both in work habits and appearance.

Expectations:

  • Gain in-depth product and market knowledge via factory training.
  • Add new retailer accounts by getting our product placed in stores with a goal of approx. 1 store per month average and/or $40k per year in total new account sales.
  • Grow existing account sales with a goal of 5% per year.
  • Compile and submit applicable reports to management
  • Preferred - relocation to East Troy (Milwaukee) Wisconsin area but will consider highly qualified candidates that live in the sales territory region..
